And now the band is officially going into the whiskey business!

Metallica launched the Sweet Amber Distilling Co. over a year ago and have announced their first release, 'Blackened.'

The drink is a blend of bourbons, ryes and whiskeys from all over North America.

The band did this to "connect" with their audience in a brand new way.
