According to a report by Comicbook.com, Marvel and Insomniac's new Spider-Man game is selling so well overseas that consumers have been forced to purchase digital copies, as physical versions have sold out in stores. The game reportedly sold 125,000 copies in its first week in Japan, equalling 96.17 percent of the entire initial shipment. Media Create estimates that 'a considerable number of purchasers' have been left with no choice but to buy the digital version of the game as remaining physical copies of the game have become scarce.
