DC wanted Cavill to play Superman in the upcoming 'Shazam!' movie.
However, THR reports, scheduling conflicts made the cameo impossible.
Cavill is slated to star in Netflix upcoming series, The Witcher.
Comicbook.com reports that Cavill's attachment to the Witcher may have complicated things with DC.
