VIDEO : Disney Wants 'Black Panther' To Be Considered For Oscar Categories

Disney and Marvel Studios is asking for "Black Panther" to be considered in a wide range of Academy Awards categories. According to Comicbook.com, the studios have asked the Oscars to consider the groundbreaking superhero movie for sixteen categories, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay. It's asked for Chadwick Boseman to be considered for Best Actor, and for many other cast members to be considered for Best Supporting Actor and Actress. "Black Panther" became the third movie in history to make more than $700 million at the domestic box office.
