Shane Black's reboot of The Predator is set to invade theaters Friday.
The iconic alien antagonists are preparing to wreak havoc on the box office for the first time since 2012.
Arnold Schwarzenegger was the star of the first film, back in 1987.
Black looked to get Schwarzenegger to a cameo for his new movie.
However, Schwarzenegger turned him down.
Black said he understands why Schwarzenegger said "no" the the cameo.
---I completely get it ? he said, 'Look, that's kind of a small part, and I don't really think I want to do that. I'm off to do Terminator.---
---If I was Schwarzenegger, I'd want to be one of the stars of a film, or nothing.---
