VIDEO : Why Paramore Won't Play 'Misery Business' Anymore

Paramore's Hayley Williams announced that the band will no longer be playing their early hit, "Misery Business."

The song has been criticized for being "anti-feminist" in the past.

Recorded for their 2007 album Riot!, Williams decided not to sing specific lyrics at past live shows since this criticism.

Williams said in a 2015 blog post that she didn't relate to the lyrics anymore, but was not "ashamed" of them.

I was a 17-year-old kid when I wrote the lyrics in question, and if I can somehow exemplify what it means to grow up, get information and become any shade of 'woke', then that's A-OK with me.
