According to Comicbook.com, Pennywise the clown will be making his return in the upcoming sequel to Stephen King's IT. According to screenwriter Gary Dauberman, IT: Chapter Two, is going to take on one more of the metaphysical concepts from Stephen King's original novel, the Ritual of Chüd. Dauberman says, "The Ritual of Ch?d is challenging, but it's such an important component to the book ". The ritual is described as "a battle of wills that involves individuals extending their tongues to other worldy proportions, wrapping them around one another, and seeing who laughs first.
