According to comicbook.com, Austin Amelio, who plays Dwight on The Walking Dead is ready to return to the series. Amelio's character was recently exiled by Daryl by threat of death after helping Rick Grimes and company overthrow Negan. Amelio's departure from the show came as a surprising twist that was not originally featured in the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman that the show is based on. The Walking Dead Season Nine will premiere on Sunday, October 7th on AMC.
