VIDEO : Fan Finds Japanese Easter Egg In 'Marvel's Spider-Man'

Comicbook.com reports obscure Spider-Man references are being spotted in the new game.

Many fans are aware of the live-action Japanese TV series from 1978 and its very different take on the hero.

And some have spotted references to the Toei series in the Japanese dub of the game.

When Spider-Man uses his hologram gadgets, he mentions how he's an "Emissary from Hell."

This is a reference to Spider-Man calling himself cede emissary in Toei's series.
