Geek.com reports that Doctor Who will be returning for its 11th season on Sunday, Oct. 7th. The long-running British sci-fi program is getting some new faces. Jodie Whitaker will be stepping into the lead role as the Doctor and Chris Chibnall will take up residency as showrunner. The iconic show will also be moving from its time-honored Saturday space to Sunday nights. Episode one??The Woman Who Fell to Earth? was written by Chibnall and directed by Jamie Childs.
