Robert Redford has said he will be retiring from acting after the release of The Old Man & The Gun which debuts this week at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival. The film, directed by David Lowery is based on a true story. UpRoxx reports that Redford plays Forrest Turner, a man who has loved robbing banks his whole life. Along the way, he meets Jewel played by Sissy Spacek, and police detective John Hunt played by Casey Affleck. who is tracking Forrest and his two accomplices played by Danny Glover and Tom Waits. No word yet on when The Old Man & The Gun will hit theatres.
