VIDEO : Paramount Cancels ?American Woman? After One Season

According to SF Gate, Paramount?s ?American Woman? will not be returning for a second season. The show starred actress Alicia Silverstone as a mother navigating the 1970s sexual revolution. Mena Suvari and Jennifer Bartels also starred in the 12-episode first season. Ratings reportedly started off strong, but did not maintain to merit a sophomore run.
