A new movie featuring Willem Dafoe as Vincent Van Gogh has opened at the Venice Film Festival. ?Eternity?s Gate? features Van Gogh in Paris in the 1880s where his paintings are, at best, ignored. Reuters reports the film follows him in and out of mental asylums, and ends with his death at 37. The movie is one of 21 films competing for the Golden Lion that will be awarded on September 8.
