According to a report by Geek.com, the effects of James Gunn's firing by Disney may reach beyond the Guardians of the Galaxy and affect the whole next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The third installment of Guardians is indefinitely on hold while Disney searches for a new director, which poses a big problem for the entire Phase Four timeline as the film was meant to follow-up the conclusion of Avengers Four.
