Fans were surprised Thursday to hear of Emmy Rossum's announced departure from "Shameless" after its upcoming ninth season. According to SF Gate, her costar, William H. Macy wasn?t surprised by the news. Macy says, " She?s got another show that she?s an executive producer on, so she?s going right into something and she wants to branch out." Macy added that Emmy Rossum is young, just got married, and he thinks that "she made the right choice."
