VIDEO : Chadwick Boseman: Marvel Didn't Want African Accents Used In 'Black Panther'

Marvel/Disney Marvel didn't initially want the characters in "Black Panther" to have accents.
But actor Chadwick Boseman, who plays King T'Challa and the titular superhero, said they needed to.
The studio thought he could have a British or American accent, reports Business Insider.
Boseman said he did some research and decided that Wakandans should speak with a click...
but the studio wasn't so sure, stating it may be too much for an audience to take.
Boseman stood firm and said it was a "deal breaker" if he didn't use an accent based in an African language.
