VIDEO : Marvel Removes Anti-Mormon Reference From New Spider-Man Comic

Comic books take risks now and then, and Marvel is no exception.

A recent image is being removed from digital and future print editions of a Spider-Man comic.

Issue #4 of Marvel's "Amazing Spider-Man" comic references anti-Mormon book called "CES Letter."

The issue's story features Spider-Man now without the moral responsibilities of Peter Parker, and is now taking TV interviews and sponsorships.

The art reference in Amazing Spider-Man #4 was included without awareness by Marvel of its meaning. As a policy, Marvel does not permit hidden controversial messages in its artwork.
