Actress Maura Tierney has been taken to the hospital after being hit by a car in California. According to Extra, Tierney?s back tire of her bike was hit by a vehicle, causing her to fall. The actress laid on the sidewalk until paramedics arrived and loaded her into an ambulance. The driver did not seem to be under the influence of any kind any stayed with Tierney the whole time. Since then the actress has been released with no major injuries.
