Oscar Isaac isn't a fan of the Outstanding Achievement in Popular Film category the Oscars recently added.
?I don?t really understand it. I haven?t read the rules of the thing. It seems pretty dumb, but I guess that?s above my pay grade,?
According to comicbook.com, Isaac then explained his comments further.
?I don?t really understand what it means. Who accepts the award? What?s the criteria for it? Is it based off of box office? I don?t really get it. But the truth is, I mean, I don?t in general. The reason why people get awards and why they don?t now is already a slippery slope. Another category seems a little meaningless, but maybe not any more than the rest of it is.?
