Geek.com reported, "For all its shortcomings when it comes to sustaining a story for a whole season, "Preacher" sure knows its way around a finale." Critics absolutely loved it's finale episode saying that it definitely did what the show does best, left audiences wanting more. They believe the show was able to achieve this by focusing on smaller fights before getting to final fight between Jesse and gran'ma. The fights also had wonderful choreography so fans were definitely not disappointed.
