The city of Detroit is honoring Aretha Franklin.
CNN reports that Franklin's funeral will be held on August 31st.
It will be a star studded event.
Guests include Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Yolanda Adams, Fantasia, Faith Hill.
The ceremony will culminate a week of planned events in Detroit.
Franklin's body will lie state Tuesday and Wednesday at the Museum of African American History.
A public viewing of the body has been added on Thursday at New Bethel Baptist Church.
