Nearly 24 hours after CBS announced that The Big Bang Theory was coming to an end after the upcoming 12th season, star Jim Parsons has broken his silence on the news, expressing and overwhelming amount of gratitude to the fans of the series. Parsons, who has played Sheldon Cooper on the series since its premiere, took to Instagram saying, "I feel very fortunate that we have another 23 episodes to shoot this season because I am hopeful that with each and every one, my level of REALLY accepting this fact will sink in."
