Will Smith and Adam Sandler are two actors who released terrible movies on Netflix.
But, Business Insider reports Smith and Sandler are laughing, all the way to the bank.
Forbes reports that in 2017, Will Smith earned $42 million and Adam Sandler made $39.5 million.
They're two of the highest-paid actors in Forbes' annual list, at No. 6 and No. 8 respectively.
A big chunk of both their earnings came from making Netflix original movies that were killed by critics.
However, the movies garnered more favorable reactions from audiences.
