According to Business Insider, Simon Rich knows what it takes to write for Saturday Night Live.
Rich was a staff writer for SNL from 2007-2011, and states that the process of writing for the show has not changed since it premiered in 1975.
From meeting with the Hosts and Lorne Michaels, to brainstorming through out the week and refining sketches just before the show. It?s a marathon of comedic proportions.
