VIDEO : New Trailers Between Episodes Irritate Netflix Users

Celebrity in this news:

Comicbook.com reports that Netflix users are up in arms over the streaming service's new trailers.
Netflix doesn't feature ads during their TV episodes like other streaming services.
But the site has started testing a new program that airs trailers for "suggested" movies or TV series.
And users are taking to social media to express their frustrations.
Some have even threatened to cancel their subscription if the advertising becomes permanent.

Netflix has publicly addressed the issue.
The company insists it is just a test to see how fans react to its other programs.
"In this particular case, we are testing whether surfacing recommendations between episodes helps members discover stories they will enjoy faster. It is important to note that a member is able to skip a video preview at anytime if they are not interested." Netflix statement.
