On Friday, HBO announced that Damon Lindelof?s small-screen adaptation of iconic graphic novel, Watchmen, has been picked up to series.
According to Uproxx, Lindelof said Watchmen will not be a strict adaptation of the source material. In a statement he wrote, the issues ?will however be remixed.?
According to a logline released by HBOs, Watchmen is ?Set in an alternate history where ?superheroes? are treated as outlaws, Watchmen embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel while attempting to break new ground of its own.?
