Record executive Clive Davis paid tribute on Twitter to the late Aretha Franklin on Thursday saying the songstress was "truly one of a kind" and "more than the Queen of Soul." Davis went on to say ?I?m absolutely devastated by Aretha?s passing" and " Apart from our long professional relationship, Aretha was my friend". According to Rolling Stone, Davis and Franklin collaborated for years and enjoyed a long and successful partnership with Arista Records. Aretha Franklin passed after a battle with pancreatic cancer, she was 76.
