SF Gate reports that ?Fox & Friends? co-host Ainsley Earhardt had quite the on-air flub Thursday morning. Earhardt, while attempting to ad lib a list of moments that "make America great" made the historically false statement ?We defeated communist Japan,". Earhardt's misstep is that World War II Japan was not a Communist country but was a fascist military dictatorship presided over by Emperor Hirohito. Earhardt?s co-host Steve Doocy did his best to gloss over the gaffe saying ?Yep, Communism and Japan and so many other things as well.?
