According to a report by SFGate, Jonathan Van Ness, who stars on 'Queer Eye,' had to defend himself on Wednesday after fans ripped into him for urging people to be tolerant of other peoples' ideas and pointing out that not all Republicans are racist. Many fans expresses outrage over Van Ness's call for compromise, however, the subsequent social media uproar only helped to support Van Ness's defense. He tweeted, ?Being able to compromise is what?s missing from both sides of the American political situation & the sooner we all get to a place of mutual understanding the sooner we will get out of this mess.?
