A new rumor is afloat that Tom Cruise may star as Green Lantern in the DC Comics universe.
Rumor website Crazy Days and Nights states that Cruise won't accept the role as it currently stands.
The website alleges that Cruise won't take the role unless the script is changed so that the character doesn't die.
A frequent collaborator of Cruise's, Christopher McQuarrie, has also been in talks to join the film.
No deal has been announced.
