Ariana Grande looks effortless when she performs, and it may be due to her laid back workouts.
Business Insider compiled fitness tips from the pop star and her trainer. Surprisingly they include not trying too hard and when it comes to health, fitness and sleep keeping everything in balance.
Grande once said, ""Your approach to health and fitness needs to start with movement and eating properly and better sleep. When you hit those out of the park consistently, then and only then should you consider the resistance [training] part."
When she's on the road Ariana's trainer, Harley Pasternak, makes sure that the singer uses what's available, since locating a gym may be challenging.
Her workouts include lunges and logging 12,000 steps a day.
Ariana adds, "I feel better when I'm just moving around a lot. I could do a really hard workout and then sit around all day and not feel as good as if I am constantly moving."
When she's not on the road, the pop star prefers hiking outside or simply dancing in heels.
In 2013 she revealed, "I jog up to the Hollywood sign every weekend."
