VIDEO : Colin Jost Says He's Not A Fan Of Award Shows But He's Hosting The Emmys

Colin Jost told the Los Angeles Times that he's not a huge fan of awards shows, despite being one of the hosts for this year's Emmy Awards. Jost has been tapped to host the upcoming Emmys with his "Saturday Night Live" co-star Michael Che. Jost said award ceremonies are "way too self-serious and focused on things that 99% of the country doesn't care about." He went on to say, "At the end of the day, it's adults getting trophies. Why should that be taken seriously?"
