VIDEO : 'Jurassic World 2' Has 'E.T.' Inspirations

Comicbook.com reports that J.A. Bayona, the director of 'Jurassic World 2' recently told the press that the darkest moments of the film were inspired by 'E.T.' a film by Stephen Spielberg. Bayona posted a screenshot of the last scene of the film, and wrote under his post, "Fun fact: the reference for the look of this shot was the heart of E.T.#JurassicWorldFallenKingdom..." Comicbook.com explains, "E.T.'s light-up chest cavity was indeed the visual inspiration for the scene of the Brachiosaurus meeting its end..."
