One of the biggest lingering questions to arise from Star Wars: The Force Awakens was concerning the movie?s main heroine, Rey, and her heritage; who are her parents?
While fans received an answer to that question, in Rian Johnson?s The Last Jedi, it seems many of them were unsatisfied with learning that she was born to junk traders.
Now, according to Screen Rant, Film Threat is reporting that some fans are hypothesizing that Rey could be the daughter to Han Solo and Qi?ra.
While its an entertaining hypothesis, evidence within the Star Wars Canon dispels any such possibility. To say nothing of the fact JJ Abrams has no desire to revisit or revise this theme as he prepares to direct Star Wars IX.
