VIDEO : Toronto Film Festival's Prestigious Platform Section

If you love film, then you?re probably aware of the Toronto Film Festival. The Festival is one of the most well known of its kind, and this year it will feature 12 films in its prestigious ?Platform? section.
According to SFGate, the Platform section is a four-year old section of the festival devoted to films with high artistic merit and bold directorial vision.
Four of the 12 films in this section are directed or co-directed by women, and include stars such as Nicole Kidman, Patricia Clarkson, Toby Jones, Frank Grillo, and Cecile de France.
The Toronto Film Festival runs from Sept 6th through Sept 16th.
