VIDEO : The CW Casts Ruby Rose As DC Superhero Batwoman

Actress and model Ruby Rose has been tapped to star as the DC Comics superhero Batwoman. The Huffington Post reports the character will debut in a crossover event on The CW this December. The CW is also developing an original stand-alone TV series as well. It would be the first live-action superhero series to feature an openly gay lead.
