Beyoncé reveals in a rare interview with Vogue magazine that she had an emergency cesarean section when she delivered her twins in June 2017. Channel24 reports that in a series of essays in the September issue, says she was 218 pounds and was swollen from toxemia - a potentially dangerous pregnancy complication characterized by high blood pressure. Beyonce adds after giving birth, the twins spent many weeks in intensive care and her husband, Jay-Z, was "a strong support system."
