Twenty-three albums into his career and John Hiatt continues to evolve and grow.
Hiatt, who started his music career in 1974 with the release of ?Hanging Around the Observatory?, admits that ?You?re the last one to notice if you?re growing or changing, for better or worse.
Now According to Rolling Stone, Hiatt will release ?The Eclipse Sessions? in October. The album is his first in four years and is the follow-up to his critically acclaimed ?Terms of My Surrender,? which won him two Grammys.
I?ll be 66 in a couple weeks. Dealing with being someone I?ve never been before, in terms of age, kids getting older, things changing. People in my life are gone. You reach the age where your friends start dying. So [this album] has a lot to do with those sorts of things, just being in a different place.?
