VIDEO : Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Kids Will Have A Different Surname

If Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have children, they might have a different surname than the rest of the British royal family. Business Insider reports that most of the royals use their territorial designation as their last names for official purposes such as school. Rather than using his official title, "His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge," 5-year-old Prince George is known as George Cambridge to his classmates. If Harry and Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, continue the tradition, their children will take on the surname, Sussex. Mountbatten-Windsor is technically the official surname for all descendants of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
