According to Screen Rant, actor Glen Powell will join Tom Cruise and Miles Teller in the cast of Top Gun: Maverick, the long-awaited sequel to the 1980s blockbuster Top Gun . Powell was originally up for the role of Goose?s son in the film but lost out to Teller after an extensive search. However, the film's producers liked Powell so much that they found a different role for him. In addition to Cruise, Jennifer Connolly will star in Top Gun: Maverick alongside Val Kilmer.
