ScreenRant reports that Dr. Loomis will return in Halloween 2018 with a vocal cameo.
Dr. Loomis was the psychiatrist who treated Michael Myers after he stabbed his sister to death as a boy on Halloween night.
Loomis gives chase to Myers after he escapes on a bloody rampage.
He ends up shooting the killer in the finale, but Myer?s body vanishes.
Dr. Loomis was played by Donald Pleasence, who appeared in four of the films before his death in 1995.
Director of Halloween 2018, David Gordon Green told Yahoo! ?We have a Donald Pleasence soundalike. Because obviously he?s no longer with us, but having someone that could mimic his voice was a fun challenge.?
