VIDEO : RLJE Films Acquires Melanie Laurent?s 'Galveston'

According to the Wrap, the drama "Galveston" has been acquired by RLJE Films.
Melanie Laurent directed the film, which stars Elle Fanning and Ben Foster.
Based on the novel by ?True Detective? author Nic Pizzolatto, the script was written by Jim Hammett.
?Galveston? tells of a mob hitman (Foster) who becomes involved in a double-cross.
He discovers a witness (Fanning) and reluctantly takes her with him to find sanctuary in Galveston.
The film premiered at SXSW and will screen at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
Produced by Tyler Davidson and Low Spark Films, it It also stars Lili Reinhart and Beau Bridges.
"Galveston" will be released in theaters in the Fall
