Broadcastingcable.com reports season 2 of ?The Deuce? will premiere on September 9. Reports say it will be set five years after the culmination of the first season. The second season of the HBO drama, which stars Maggie Gyllenhaal, will consist of nine episodes. James Franco, Gary Carr, Gbenga Akkinagbe and Margarita Levieva round out the main cast.
