According to UpRoxx, one of the original actors from the Star Wars universe is recovering well after having spinal surgery earlier in the week. Peter Mayhew, the actor who originally played Chewbacca, had the surgery to improve his mobility. The 7-foot-2 actor has een using a cane in recent years, which is designed to look similar to a lightsaber. Mayhew has announced on Twitter that he had recently undergone spinal surgery to improve his mobility and explained that he?s doing well, thanking his family and doctors for their help.
