David Bowie fans take note ? one of his least favorite albums has been reworked and is set for release.
According to Rolling Stone magazine, David Bowie?s ?Never Let Me Down? album was despised by the artist for it?s cheesy, dated sounds, and Bowie himself even went on to say of it in an interview from 1995:
It was such an awful album. ? I really shouldn?t have even bothered going into the studio to record it. In fact, when I play it, I wonder if I did sometimes.
According to producer Mario McNulty, Bowie always wanted to go back and redo the album. Now, that?s been done
The new version of the album will be available on the upcoming box set, Loving the Alien (1983 - 1988).
