Sports analyst and podcaster Bill Simmons has signed a new longterm, overall deal at HBO.
The Wrap reports The deal will keep Simmons' focused on creating sports-themed content.
This work will include TV series, films and documentary programming.
Simmons first gained attention as "The Boston Sports Guy" and was recruited by ESPN.
He hosted "Any Given Wednesday with Bill Simmons" on HBO for one season in 2016.
He's founder and CEO of The Ringer, a sports/pop culture network launched in 2016.
