'Guardians of the Galaxy' director James Gunn was recently fired by Disney for ?offensive attitudes and statements? on his Twitter feed. Following the news, Michael Rooker, who played blue-skinned Yondu in the hit Marvel franchise, has announced he's leaving Twitter for good. According to UpRoxx, Rooker tweeted, "This account will be inactive after today...Twitter sucks and I want nothing to do with it." Dave Bautista also tweeted his support for Gunn, writing, ?I will have more to say but for right now all I will say is this. @JamesGunn is one of the most loving, caring, good natured people I have ever met." Cast members Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, and Karen Gillan also chimed in on the issue as well.
