TheWrap reports **Top Gun: Maverick** is set to hit theaters on July 12, 2019.
Joseph Kosinski is directing, and the script is by Eric Warren Singer, Peter Craig and Justin Marks.
Miles Teller and Val Kilmer will also star.
Production is set to start in September in San Diego.
