Director James Gunn has been dropped from Disney?s Marvel franchise ?Guardians of the Galaxy? over old tweets. In the tweets, Gunn made jokes about taboo topics like rape and pedophilia. Gunn apologized late Thursday for the tweets, admitting they were "offensive." Gunn was the writer-director of Marvel?s ?Guardians of the Galaxy? franchise. Gunn tried to explain the tweets by claiming that when he began his career he saw himself "as a provocateur."
