British actress Jodie Whittaker made her public debut on Thursday as the first female ?Doctor Who.? According to Reuters, Whittaker said that casting a woman to lead the long-running sci-fi television series was inevitable. She appeared before some 6,000 fans at San Diego?s annual Comic-Con pop culture gathering to discuss playing the iconic Doctor.
